South West Regional Assembly
The South West Regional Assembly (SWRA) was a partnership of councillors from local authorities and representatives with a role in the region`s economic, social and environmental well-being. The assembly covered an area of around 24000 square kilometres from Gloucestershire, Dorset and Wiltshire to the Isles of Scilly, and represented a population of almost five million people.
The SWRA was voluntarily abolished in 2009 with its role being taken over by the Government's Strategic Leaders Board.
Redshift was approached to create the SWRA`s original web presence. Visually the site was influenced by a new corporate identity designed and developed for the SWRA by established Graphic Designer Peter Poland Design Ltd. The site was a multi-phase development project to make SWRA information easily accessible to the public and its members.
